Basuki Welcomed President of Finland

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama welcomed President of Finland, Sauli Vainamo Niinisto. The entourage of the President arrived at City Hall about 10.20 AM.

"Welcome Mr. President of Finland," said Ahok who was immediately shaking Sauli's hand once he got off of the car he rode, Wednesday (11/4).

Ahok, who is wearing complete suit then invited and asked Sauli to get in the City Hall. Before holding private dialogue, Sauli filled the guest book prepared.

President of Finland to Visit City Hall

As planned, his visit to City hall is for discussing cooperation chance in economic, infrastructure, education, tourism, energy and transportation sectors.

In the private meeting, Ahok is accompanied by City Secretary Saefullah; Governor Deputy for Industry, Trade, and Transportation Division Syahrul Effeni; City Secretary's Assistant in Economic Division Franky Mangatas; City Secretary's Assistant in Development and Environment Division Gamal Sinurat; and Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Abdul Hadi.

Currently the security in City Hall complex is quite tight. Metal Detectors are installed on some entrance points. Police and Army apparatus are also dispatched from outside until inside of City Hall's gate.
